Frequently Asked Questions

No.  Our name was originally inspired by the Rush song Tom Sawyer, so of course we do sing that one, but we do not follow any specific band, just good alternative rock music.  We are constantly adding new songs, including modern favorites from a variety of musicians!

We play alternative and alternative classic rock!  If you like The Black Keys, Beatles, Nirvana, Cranberries and Rage Against the Machine, there is a good chance you will love MDW! We do play some Rush, but we are definitely NOT a Rush cover band.  

The cost varies depending on the type of event, duration of the performance, and location. Please contact us for a personalized quote.

Modern Day Warrior has played at The Attic at Waterman's, Elevation 27, South Beach Grill, Smartmouth Brewery and at private events including Princess Anne High School and neighborhood block parties.
